Categories of Entry

In.Site will showcase three categories of industry insight:

 

  • The Environment around us:

The Environment category highlights the natural world within which the industry operates. From the ocean to desert landscapes, farmland to marine environments – we are surrounded by beauty every day.

 

  • The Community that supports us:

We are surrounded by towns and communities that enable our work every day. This category captures the essence of the local towns – the local bakery where we get our daily breakfast, the transport vehicles that deliver machinery to us, our local postal workers, or even that favourite park we take the kids to.

 

  • The People we connect with:

The people that work in the natural gas industry are the reason many Australians are connected to gas in their homes and businesses every day. This category will reflect the spirit of the people around us every day – whether it’s a new graduate employee on their first day, the teacher at our kid’s school, the local butcher, or the colleague we have worked alongside for twenty years.

Prizes

Three category prizes and an overall winner will be announced on 21 April 2023. The photographic entry judged to be the best, from any of the category entries, will win the overall In.Site Photographic Prize.

 

Overall Winner

One overall winner, whose photo the judges feel best captures the spirit of their workplace, or their local community or environment, will be chosen from all entries across all categories. The photographer of the selected image will be awarded with the following prizes:

  • $5,000 voucher from Ted’s Cameras to put towards a new camera or photography equipment
  • Complimentary attendance to the 2023 APPEA Conference over Monday 15 to Thursday 18 May 2023
  • Professionally framed print of your winning photograph
  • Winner’s certificate
  • Your profile promoted on our Brighter channels

 

Category Winners

Respective winners of the environment, community and people categories will receive the following:

  • $1,000 voucher from Ted’s Cameras to put towards a new camera or photography equipment
  • Complimentary attendance to the 2023 APPEA Conference over Monday 15 to Thursday 18 May 2023
  • Professionally framed print of your winning photograph
  • Winner’s certificate
  • Your profile promoted on our Brighter channels

 

All competition winners’ photos will also be immortalised through use on APPEA’s digital and print publications.
