New Research Reveals the Most Popular Songs to Sing in the Shower

New research commissioned by Brighter has revealed the top songs Australians sing in the shower.

One in five Australians sing in the shower, and one in 20 believe they’re good enough to win a reality TV singing competition (yikes!). The most popular hour to shower is between 7 – 8am, which means most people are belting out their favourite songs quite early.

The most popular songs to sing in the shower included one of the biggest hits of the 1980’s, Wham’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. Other top picks incuded Africa by Toto and recent hits Nothing breaks like a heart by Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus, and Lady Gaga’s Shallow.

To listen to the songs that made the cut see the ‘Hour of Shower’ Spotify playlist here.

Whether you know it or not, gas plays a big part in almost all Australian homes. Most of us use it for cooking, hot showers or weekend BBQs with the family. Gas is also vital in keeping local businesses, schools and hospitals powered and running.
