Royal Melbourne Show Goes Online
As we continue to manage the impacts of COVID-19, one of the things Victorians will miss most this September is the Royal Melbourne Show. Having run for over 160 years, the show is well-loved for rides, showbags, the epic nightly fireworks display and bringing the best of regional Victoria to the city.
For those now feeling a little morose at memories of frolicking in the September sun at The Show, never fear! The team at the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria are bringing The Show to you by putting it online. After sponsoring the 2019 Melbourne Show fireworks, Brighter is proud to again be a sponsor of the show in 2020, bringing you the Entertainment Day.
While the online fun will capture some of the magic of The Show, it’s important to remember what underpins it – Victorian agriculture.
The Australian natural gas industry thrives in partnership with rural and regional communities, working closely with agricultural producers and small businesses to coexist respectfully to the economic benefit of all. Towns like Sale have partnered with the natural gas industry to the benefit of local infrastructure and community facilities.
Brighter’s commitment to the 2020 Royal Melbourne Show is part of the natural gas industry’s commitment to investment in and partnership with regional communities in Victoria and Australia as we all recover from the economic effects of COVID-19.
