We work together in a variety of ways
Since September 2014, Queensland Aerial have worked with the gas industry using drones and other remote technologies. We offer a range of services — visual and thermographic inspections of assets like pipelines and turbines, construction time-lapses, 2D and 3D mapping, as well as artistic photography and cinematic video production for promotions and training.
The gas industry relies on great technology minds for its future
In all industries, technology provides endless benefits for managing safety and efficiency, and the gas industry is no exception. For those of us who love programming, it’s an industry full of opportunities. It’s fun keeping up with state-of-the-art tech!
You could say I’m passionate about what I do – I’ve automated almost all parts of my life!
I’m passionate about anything technology, and I especially love programming. Being quadriplegic I need to solve a lot of problems for day-to-day living, so I’ve automated my home; lights, air conditioner, doors, TV. Everything is voice controlled and automated.

The best part is that every day is different – and some are more surprising than others
When filming some coastline for a promotion, we unknowingly filmed a boat in rough wateroff in the distance. It got out of control and a person got thrown overboard. We had the whole thing filmed, it went wild on social media, the local news broadcasted the footage, thenMaritime Services got involved requesting a zoomed-in, enhanced copy. It was a pretty crazy experience!
